About this coloring page
A cozy mitten shows off a snowflake design and a ribbed cuff at the wrist. The snowflake and stripes add some fine detail to an otherwise roomy medium page.
Snowflake designs like the one on this mitten are often knitted into winter clothes. Look at it closely and count its arms together, then compare it with the striped cuff below: is the snowflake made of straight lines or curves? A sharp colored pencil keeps the snowflake crisp, while a crayon covers the rest of the mitten fast.
Fun factMittens keep hands warmer than gloves because the fingers share their warmth.
- Color ideaMake the mitten red with a white snowflake and a striped cuff.
- After coloringTrace your hand to draw a matching mitten for the other hand.
