Number Coloring Pages: 0 to 9
Gullu's Numbers land has 10 coloring pages, one for every digit from 0 to 9, each a big smiling numeral surrounded by things to count. They suit toddlers through kindergarten and first grade. The number 1 stands beside one star, the 2 has two hearts, the 3 floats among balloons, the 4 is ringed with apples, the 5 is framed by flowers and the 7 is circled by swimming fish. The 0 sits behind an empty basket to show that zero means none, while the 8 is surrounded by lollipops, candies and a candy cane. The early numbers have a few big shapes that are easy for small hands, and the later ones get busier for kids ready for more detail. Number 0 is free to print here; 1 through 9 are colored in the Gullu app.

What kids practice
Number pages turn coloring into early math practice. Kids learn to recognize each numeral by its shape, then match it to a group of objects they can count and touch. Coloring the curves of 2, 3 and 8 builds the same hand control used for writing numbers. Each page also shares a simple number fact, like the seven days in a week or a spider's eight legs.
Ideas for home and the classroom
- Make a number line on the wall: start with the printed Number 0, then write each next numeral on a card after kids color it, all the way to 9.
- Play count and match: after coloring a number, count out that many small toys or snacks to match it.
- Trace the numeral with a finger, then write it on paper beside the colored picture.
Number Coloring Pages: questions
What age are these number coloring pages for?
They work well for toddlers through first grade. Two- and three-year-olds can color the big numerals and hear the number names, while preschoolers and kindergartners can count the objects and start writing the digits. The pages for 0, 1 and 2 are the simplest, and the later numbers have more objects and smaller details.
Can I print these number pages for my classroom?
The Number 0 page is free to print for personal, home and classroom use, so you can copy it for every child or use it to start a counting center. Numbers 1 to 9 are colored in the Gullu app. Please do not resell the page or include it in products for sale. Plain letter or A4 paper is fine for crayons, markers and colored pencils.
How do coloring pages help kids learn numbers?
Coloring a big numeral helps children remember its shape, and counting the pictures around it links the symbol to a real amount. Moving a crayon around curves and corners also builds the control needed to write numbers. Talk while they color, asking how many there are and which number comes next, to make the practice feel like play.
