Preschool and Kindergarten Coloring Pages: Letters, Numbers and Shapes

These 24 preschool and kindergarten coloring pages each teach a little something. Letters A, B, C and D come with an apple, a beach ball, a cat and a puppy, and the numbers 0 to 3 pair with an empty basket, one star, two hearts and three balloons. The Shapes land adds a circle, a square, a triangle, a star and a house built from shapes. A traffic light teaches red, yellow and green, stacking rings show size order, a rainbow shows color order and a block tower shows A to E. A dentist, a toothbrush, an alarm clock, a pig, a duck, a frog and a xylophone finish the set. Letter A, Number 0 and Circle are free to print here; the rest are colored in the Gullu app.

Ideas for home and the classroom

  • Say the letter sound and the picture name together, like A for apple, before your child colors.
  • Count the star, hearts or balloons on each number page, then hold up that many fingers.
  • After coloring the circle, square and triangle, go on a shape hunt around the room or classroom.
FAQ

Preschool coloring pages: questions

Which preschool coloring pages are free to print?

Three are free to print for personal, home and classroom use: Letter A, Number 0 and Circle. Each is the first page of its land and is in the free 44-page PDF. The other pages are colored in the Gullu app.

Which pages suit preschool and which suit kindergarten?

Preschoolers of 3 and 4 do well with the easy pages: the letters, the numbers 0 to 2, the shapes, the stacking rings, the rainbow, the duck and the frog. The medium pages, such as the number 3, the block tower, the traffic light, the dentist, the toothbrush, the alarm clock and the xylophone, have smaller spaces and suit older preschoolers and kindergarten kids.

Does Gullu have the whole alphabet and all the numbers?

Yes. Gullu’s Letters land has 26 pages, A to Z, each paired with a picture, and the Numbers land has 10 pages, 0 to 9, with things to count. This page shows the easiest ones. Letter A and Number 0 are free to print; the rest are colored in the Gullu app.
