About this coloring page

Five smiling flowers bloom around this number 5, each with petals and leaves of its own. All those petals create lots of little spaces, making it a detailed page.

Ask: which flower is tallest, and which one is tucked down at the bottom? If a bee visited every flower once, how many stops would it make? Then pick one flower and count its petals together. Five is also the number of toes on each foot, so kick off your socks and count them while the crayons rest.

Fun fact

Most starfish have five arms.

  • Color ideaGive every flower a different petal color and keep the centers sunny yellow.
  • After coloringHold up one hand and count your fingers while touching each flower.
