About this coloring page
A diamond-shaped kite flies high among puffy clouds, its tail tied with little bows. The kite panels and bows offer a medium mix of shapes for a breezy spring day.
Pretend you are holding the string of this kite on a windy hill. Is it tugging hard or floating gently, and which cloud is it trying to reach? Run in place, then let your arms drift slowly like a kite. The little bows on the tail are small, so try a colored pencil there and save crayons for the big kite sections.
Fun factKites were invented in China more than 2,000 years ago.
- Color ideaColor the four kite sections in two alternating colors, like red and yellow.
- After coloringCount the bows on the kite's tail.
