About this coloring page
A fluffy kitten pounces on a ball of yarn, with a loose strand trailing behind. The fur tufts and yarn lines add up to a detailed page full of movement.
Watch how this kitten is pouncing, with front paws reaching and back legs ready to spring. Your child can copy the pose on the floor, then pounce gently onto a pillow. Cats play by practicing the same moves they would use to catch food. The fur tufts and trailing yarn strand have many small curves, so this page suits older kids with a sharp pencil.
Fun factKittens are born with blue eyes, and their grown-up eye color appears as they get older.
- Color ideaColor the kitten soft gray with white paws and make the yarn bright red or purple.
- After coloringRoll a ball of yarn or a sock across the floor like a kitten would chase it.
