About this coloring page
Ripe berries hang from a leafy strawberry plant, each one wearing a sweet smile. Seeds, leaves and berries add a medium amount of detail with a juicy finish.
Strawberry plants send out long stems called runners that creep along the ground and start new baby plants. One plant can turn into many this way, so ask which berries your child likes best: strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. Jagged leaf edges call for careful pencil work, while each berry is a roomy space for crayon.
Fun factStrawberries carry their seeds on the outside of the fruit.
- Color ideaColor the berries bright red with tiny yellow seed dots and green tops.
- After coloringLook closely at a real strawberry and count some of its seeds.
