About this coloring page
A tiny mouse holds a big leaf over its head like an umbrella. The leaf veins and mouse add a medium amount of detail with a sweet story.
A sudden rain shower has sent this little mouse looking for cover, and a big leaf makes the perfect umbrella. Which way is the mouse heading, and who will squeeze under the leaf to share it? Act out the walk together, holding a paper leaf overhead. The leaf's veins are thin lines for a pencil, and the mouse's round ears are easy for younger kids.
Fun factMice use their whiskers to feel their way around in the dark.
- Color ideaColor the mouse soft gray with pink ears and the leaf bright green.
- After coloringFind a leaf outside and see if it could shade a toy mouse.
