About this coloring page
A friendly cactus with two arms and a flower on top grows in a little clay pot. Big shapes make it an easy page with a happy result.
Cactus spines are actually a special kind of leaf, and they protect the plant and give it a little shade. Chat about which plants grow in dry places and which need lots of rain. The pot and the cactus arms are big, easy shapes for young colorers, and the little flower on top is a nice spot for a bright color.
Fun factA cactus stores water inside its thick stem, so it can live where it rarely rains.
- Color ideaColor the cactus green, the flower pink and the pot terra-cotta orange.
- After coloringDraw tiny dots on the cactus to show its spines.
