About this coloring page
A firework bursts open into rounded rays with small stars sparkling at the tips. With only a few big shapes, this is an easy celebration page.
Fireworks get their colors from special metal salts packed inside: some glow red, others green, blue or gold when they burn. Let your child choose a color for each rounded ray and say it out loud before coloring. The stars at the tips are a good place to practice small, careful strokes. Remember that real fireworks are only for grown-ups to handle.
Fun factFireworks were first made in China more than a thousand years ago.
