About this coloring page
A tiny bird perches on the princess's hand as if singing her a song. Her gown and the little bird make a balanced medium page.
Birds are often shy, so a bird landing on someone's hand shows real trust. Chat about how to be gentle and quiet around animals so they feel safe, and watch birds from a window to see what they do. Older kids can color the tiny bird with a sharp pencil, while younger kids enjoy the gown's big skirt.
Fun factBirds are the only living animals that have feathers.
- Color ideaColor the bird bright blue with an orange beak and the gown buttercup yellow.
- After coloringWhistle or hum a little song for the bird.
