About this coloring page
Perched on a leafy branch, this parrot shows off a hooked beak, layered wing feathers and a long tail. The feathers come in neat strips, a nice middle-level challenge for kids who like bold colors.
Fun factParrots have two toes pointing forward and two pointing back, which helps them grip branches tightly.
- Color ideaTry a red body with blue and yellow stripes on the wing and tail, like a real scarlet macaw.
- After coloringSay a word slowly, like a parrot learning to talk, and have someone repeat it back.
